On the Lookout

I just found out that my photo of a mountain hare was the runner-up in the Going Wild in Rural Scotland competition organised by Scottish Rural Gateway.  The Rural Gateway is a Scottish Government initiative which shares news, views and information across Scotland's rural communities.

I spotted the mountain hare, just starting to lose its winter coat in Glen Gairn, Aberdeenshire, during a Land Rover safari organised by Braemar Highland Safaris

The winner of Rural Gateway Photo of the Year 2008 will be decided by an online poll at the end of the year.

Worthy of an award in any widlfife competition Tim, I presume these are not that easy to take in the wild.
Well done, you! The winner must have been pretty special to beat this. (:o)
This is superb Tim. Roz has said it all for me.
